Ernie the Turtle

Turtleford is home to Canada's largest turtle. Ernie stands more than eight feet tall, is twenty-eight feet long and fourteen feet wide. Ernie is located at the town's tourist information centre and business directory. He was constructed in 1983 to commemorate Turtleford's acquisition of town status.
