The Mission of the Reception Centre Committee is to:
-establish an effective "Reception Centre" in the event of any local disaster or mutual aid situation.
-plan, prepare, participate
-enhance community awareness
-utilize current resource information and training
-and to provide the best possible registration of evacuees, inquiry (locating of family and friends), shelter, food, clothing, personal services, safety and security, assignment of volunteers, and arrangements for pet care.
The Emergency Preparedness Committee is seeking individuals with communication, leadership, or organizing experience and/or any persons having an interest in participating on the Committee. Please contact the Town of Turtleford Office if you are interested in participating or wanting more information about the committee.
